Sonic Frontiers: The Final Horizon update now available

Sonic Frontiers new free DLC content update

F-Zero 99 is not the only game to receive an update tonight. Sonic fans have also been waiting in anticipation for a new update for Sonic Frontiers, which has been called “The Final Horizon”. SEGA has already confirmed that the update will add new story content, new playable characters and much more.

Well, as SEGA and Sonic Team have promised, the update has officially been released. When you update, Sonic Frontiers should be at version 1.40. There aren’t any patch notes available, but everything that SEGA said would be in the update is there. You can now play as Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, and Miles “Tails” Prower in a new story scenario. You can see game director Morio Kishimoto’s tweet about the matter down below.

        1. Lots of issues such as the janky character movements, the crappy camera and the unfair difficulty in a certain part, they should’ve taken some more time polishing this…people have been complaining about those issues in YouTube and social media.

  1. They have to patch this ASAP the movement is wonky and amy’s multi lock on is broken. I appreciate the update but they should’ve taken more time to fine tune it.

    1. And the camera is atrocious, that’s the Achilles talon of 3d sonic. Sincerely this update wasn’t worth the hype and they were doing a decent job with the past two updates.
