Circana’s (formerly The NPD Group) Mat Piscatella has relayed some new sales data for the United States for the month of September, indicating that a single Wii U console was sold in the country. This marks the first time a brand new Wii U console has been sold since May 2022. It remains unclear which retailer sold the Wii U, given that the console was discontinued a few years ago. It is possible that it was a misplaced unit that was rediscovered by the retailer.
Thanks to Greatsong 1 for sending in the news tip!

Woah a single unit was sold, that’s probably still better then M$ Xbox.
If a retailer actually had a brand new Wii U not overpriced, I’d buy it too.
Same
Tried to look for one a while ago but gave up because of prices, lost interested when i got a new PC that can run Cemu at full speed.
At least i got a n3dsxl when they were still being sold at msrp, i’m never selling that.
We should petition Nintendo to reallow access to the E-shop just for this one guy
