Zelda voice actress says she “would love” to play the role of Zelda in live action movie

Patricia Summersett, who is the voice behind Princess Zelda in the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, has said that she would love to play the role of Princess Zelda in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda movie. Speaking to Games Radar she told the site that she feels very connected to the fan base and concluded by saying that the role is one of “absolute joy.”

“Of course I will,” she said without hesitation. “I would love to play Zelda over and over again.”

“I’m quite connected to the fanbase now,” she said. “It’s been seven years, so this is my life. It’s been three games, and I could always take more of it. I love this part of my life and the community. Not that it’s going away any time soon. It’s an absolute joy.”

    1. Man, how many days have passed since he was announced as Mario and he is still living rent free in your mind?

      Get over it.

        1. To DJohn, he wasn’t though. You just hate Chris Pratt because he’s a Christian. Besides, Chriss Pratt doesn’t voice Mario in Super Mario Bros Wonder, so you got what you wanted.

I liked Chris Pratt as Mario not just because he’s a Christian, but because unlike you, I was born before 1990 so I remembered a time where Mario had a deep voice.

  1. I would be okay with Patricia Summersett as Zelda. I know I’m gonna get hate from this, but I would rather have a Zelda in her 40s than that fetus from a link between worlds.

      1. Technically, it does. Besides, I was referring to the character herself, not her voice. The movie is said to be live action.

    1. Zelda has always been young in all the games period. Patricia does not and cannot look that part at all. The face alone is not structured anything like Zelda.

      1. Telling lies and ending them with “period” doesn’t make them true period. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess — PRIMA Official Game Guide says that Twilight Princess Zelda was around 20. And I’m sure Zelda is at least physically 18 in Tears of the kingdom.

          1. Zelda has always been young, not just ALBW specifically so…you’re saying all Zelda’s are a “fetus”?
          2. The guide you mentioned actually puts TP Zelda at 17 so…that’s a mistake.
          3. What DannyBogard said

          1. “The guide you mentioned actually puts TP Zelda at 17 so…that’s a mistake.” Keep telling yourself that pedo.

  2. I wouldn’t mind Patricia Summersett playing Zelda, she has a beautiful look. Unfortunately, she might be a little too old now for the role, maybe not though.

  3. No offense to her, I’m sure she would make a great zelda and I’d love her voice in the film. But zelda is 17, she is 40, link is 17, imagine her, a 40yo with one of the teenage or 20yo actors. I feel like that would be not ok.
