Sales data has come in for the month of November for the biggest gaming market in Europe, the United Kingdom. November ,as you already know, included Black Friday which saw a large number of consoles and video game software discounted. The winner for this year was Sony’s PlayStation 5 console which accounted for half of all consoles sold. The Xbox Series X|S came in second with sales up 4% over last year. The Nintendo Switch didn’t fare quite as well as sales were down 19% over last November.

I wonder what the charts would look like if Nintendo released digital sales numbers. Do many people buy digital on Switch in the UK?
Software charts would probably be widely different, and yes, digital is massively popular here.
I remember Nintendo saying that Digital sales accounted for more than 48% of their sales just recently. So it would be a world of difference.
That’s only because most their games are digital only.
