The sun is setting on the life of the Nintendo Switch. Nevertheless, Nintendo‘s hybrid console is still selling rather well. Even as speculation on the Switch’s successor has continued to increase in intensity and the rumor mill continues to churn, the Switch is still reaching sales milestones.
For example, a major milestone has been reached in the United States. Mat Piscatella, analyst for Circana, which was formerly The NPD Group, confirmed on Twitter that the Nintendo Switch is now the 3rd best-selling video gaming console of all time in the United States. Only the DS and PlayStation 2 are ahead of it. You can see the tweet down below.

Umm no. It’s honestly the best selling console Nintendo has ever made. the DS sales include every DS version, including the gen that came after that. So, it’s a bit misleading.
Oh wait this means of all time, thought it was behind the Series X and PS5 in monthly sales. Nvm.
How embarrassing
Just wait for the new system. If isn’t seriously does 4 k docked and 1080 handheld it will literally be the number one console in 5 years.

A similar relative time frame.New PS2s and DSs stop getting sold(an there fore counted) over a decade ago.
The Ps2 was sold for 12 yrs, the switch has sold for 6 yrs. So it’s actually way ahead of where the ps2 was during its lifespan, which is pretty remarkable.
I am a proud switch holder and I want to thank Nintendo a lot but I am also pleading if these games can come to switch: Batman origins, uncharted golden abyss, Spider Man 1 or Amazing Spider man,tomb raider (2015) game or assassin creed Odyssey (physical copy) and not cloud version.I must say the way and manner people will buy the consoles imply because these games are on Nintendo switch.I would love my proud switch to keep dominating interns of handheld consoles,since the introduction of ayo neo,steam deck etc.Pls Nintendo,pls answer my pleads.Thank you.
Switch should be #1. But #3 isn’t actually that bad.
