The remake of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD for the Nintendo Switch has now been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. The ESRB rated the spooky game as “E for Everyone”. A release date has yet to be announced for the ghost-busting adventure, but it is currently penciled in for a Summer 2024 release window. We should get a firm release date nearer the time. For now, here’s the rating summary:
This is an adventure game in which players assume the role of Luigi as he retrieves mysterious artifacts. Players search haunted houses while using a flashlight and vacuum pack to suck up objects and capture ghosts. Some ghosts can punch Luigi, causing him to cry out, blink, and collapse to the ground. Other sequences allow players to shoot seeds at mice and launch cartoony bombs at enemy creatures.
I was expecting an Adults Only rating.
I think it would be sacrilege to rate it anything else, though I do sometimes think of the board as clowns upon some of their ratings. I once saw an advertisement in Nintendo Power magazine for Rayman DS where it had a T rating for just “mild violence” (it released a few months later with an E rating but it was still a bizarre thing to see).

Worst? You play that game? LM2 maibe need more rpg functions but levels is different, colourfull, 3D (3Ds game), with great design and soundtrack, long singleplayer. For me LM2 is minimal 9/10. Solid nintendo singleplayer quality without bugs, dayone patch or dlc trash.

No it isn’t, the scarescraper version of mansion 2 is better than the one in 3.
Scarescraper alone doesn’t hold that game. Besides no one is saying that game sucks or anything.

I’m just thinking they need to have the full trilogy on Switch.
