Yesterday internal marketing presentations of SEGA’s upcoming reboots of classic games made their way online and we now have a look at those aforementioned slides. They are for Streets of Rage, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe. While the reboots don’t have a specific release date as of yet we will keep you informed if we hear anything.

  1. I’m afraid of reboots, it could ruin franchises that were better in the past. For example: Who will be playable in Crazy Taxi? Why does the Golden Axe design seem strange? Wouldn’t Street of Rage 3D remind Yakuza? Etc…
Well, half of these games I would buy physically on the Switch.

  2. Fortnite Taxi, not cool. Mindless hack and slash, just peachy. Sonic frontiers in a city setting with roller blades, yay. (No Opinion, don’t know the series). Beat’em up, again, jawsome.

But we will wait and see!

  3. Crazy Taxi was awesome on the Dreamcast, back then it was crazy how SEGA’s arcade games came to their home console. Crazy Taxi 2 was poor and Crazy Taxi 3 on the Xbox wasn’t too good either. Fingers crossed that the fourth game in the series holds up. The Golden Axe logo looks a bit dodgy and I’m not sure on the character art. Given up on a sequel to Baku Baku Animal and Virtua Racing.

  4. Ragdoll Hit offers a blend of comedic physics and competitive combat, resulting in dynamic and unpredictable encounters. Each match hinges on timing, strategy, and a single decisive hit that can alter the flow of battle.
