Sales data has come through for the month of December in the largest gaming market in Europe, the United Kingdom. The best-selling game was Sony’s PlayStation 5 though the Nintendo Switch family of systems continues to sell well as it came in second, with the Xbox Series X|S consoles in third. A huge 6.9 million digital and physical games were sold in the UK during December. The best-selling video game was predictably EA Sports FC 24. It should be noted that Nintendo doesn’t provide digital sales figures.
