Reuters is reporting that the next mainline game in the acclaimed The Witcher series of games is entering pre-production this year. CD Projekt Red says that they aim to have 400 people working on the title by the middle of this year. The project is codenamed “Polaris” and will span multiple The Witcher games. Analysts say that they expect the fruit of studio’s labours to appear in either 2026 or 2027. CD Projekt Red is also working on a sequel to Cyberpunk, which is in the conceptual phase.
