I sort of regret not buying Crystal on 3DS before the eshop. I was just at that point where I didn’t want to support the Pokemon Co due to their scummy practices and… well.. even the VC games felt a little scummy. They were priced at $10 and (while this didn’t effect me personally) they were charging for separate language versions.
Still, I get nostalgic for Gen 2 from time to time. It’s my favorite.
