Nintendo is currently the richest company in The Land of the Rising Sun with an exorbitant 1.7186 trillion yen which is around $11.44 billion. This new data is according to Toyo Keiza, which ranks Japanese companies on wealth and subtracting out debt. Other Japanese video game studios on the list are Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Konami, Sega, GungHo, Kadokawa and Capcom. Sony isn’t on the list due to the amount of debt.
Konami being higher than Capcom is a wild look. But Konami also has the there machines over in the east, so it makes sense.
Except Nintendos net worth is more than 85 billion total. This article is only talking about free money for which they put aside for new development and acquisitions.
Bravo Nintendo, bravo.
