Famitsu awards Princess Peach Showtime! 33/40

The latest edition of premier Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu has arrived and Issue 1842 contains the first review of the intriguing Princess Peach: Showtime!. The four reviewers at Famitsu each gave the game 8/8/9/8 giving Princess Peach: Showtime! an overall score of 33/40. Here’s all the review scores from Weekly Famitsu Issue 1842:

  1. I am surprised no one has leaked one of the game’s “biggest surprises”, that’s going to break the internet.

        1. We are not joking, a little bird (pyoro) told us something, also Kratos is the final boss and you have to fight him with a cool ass spartan warrior costume, that’s why the game is M rated in Europe specifically and exclusively in Greece

  2. Disgusting comments. And 33/40 from Famitsu is meaningless. Western reviews will tell the real story. I expect it to score around 65%.

      How are the comments disgusting and why the hell should trash Western game “journalists” matter more than Japanese reviews for a Japanese game?

  3. 33/40 is pretty low for Famitsu actually. They usually score games much higher than most people. I’m guessing the Peach game will get lots of 7-ish review scores and be looked at as just okay and for children.
