Ever since Penny’s Big Breakaway released more than a month ago, the game has been gradually receiving support in the form of updates. Earlier this month, the game was updated to version 1.2. However, this was only for the Steam version of the game. An update for consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, would have to wait.
Fortunately, the wait is no more. You can now get the version 1.2 update on the Nintendo Switch version. One major difference in this version’s update is that the 60fps option is found in the game’s video mode settings, which can be found before selecting a game file. If you want to keep the frame rate locked as is, Anti-Aliasing has been added too. Otherwise, you can also change the frame rate to 60 by setting the quality mode to Performance.
Sadly, Performance Mode is trash, it has MASSIVE framerate dips.
