New listing for Hollow Knight: Silksong has appeared online along with rating

The product marketing manager for Xbox has revealed that the Hollow Knight: Silksong Wishlist page is now available on Xbox leading to speculation that the game is nearly ready for launch. It would also appear from the product listing that the game has been rated with an Everyone 10+ age rating. Hollow Knight: Silksong is a massively anticipated title and the thought that it’s nearer to completion will naturally excite fans. Hollow Knight: Silksong will be a day one release on Xbox Game Pass.

Not exactly “development hell”; they haven’t been having issues while developing the game (outside of general problems that pop up during any production), but instead they’ve constantly been adding more and more to the game when they get new ideas that they want to implement. Silksong started out as a normal DLC for Hollow Knight, but similar to with TotK they then expanded it further and further until it became big enough to be a new game. Only difference between Silksong’s development origins and Tears of the Kingdom’s is that Silksong takes place in an entirely new kingdom

        1. The developers have stated that Tears of the Kingdom started out as DLC for Breath of the Wild. By the time it was announced its development had been shifted to a full on sequel instead.
