DOOM games are no stranger to the Nintendo Switch. Classic DOOM games, DOOM 2016 and even DOOM Eternal are currently playable to play on Nintendo’s hybrid console. That all said, it has been a while since there has been a new DOOM game. DOOM Eternal was the most recent release, and that was 4 years ago.
Well, it seems that things are about to change. Insider Gaming is reporting that a new DOOM game will be revealed in Microsoft’s presentation, which is slated to occur on June 9th. Its code name was “Year Zero”, but now has the final name “DOOM: The Dark Ages”. As for the game itself, the only thing they learned is that the game is described as a “medieval inspired doom world”.
Doom Eternal came out 4 years ago on March 20th.
Would be neat to see a Doom game with like Medieval Fantasy styled weapons fighting off the hordes of Hel

You’re naïve if you think that Microsoft is going to release games from the competition… As said, it will only be xbox and pc
You’re also living under a rock if you think Microsoft cares about Xbox Gamers, we’ve seen a lot of games now being ported to PlayStation and Nintendo platforms, so likelihood it’ll be coming to Nintendo and Sony’s consoles as well as Xbox and PC
They will be releasing it and all other games that were never an exclusive on all other platforms. If they don’t release in any it would be PS.
Of course… With this kind of idea they might as well stop consoles but nothing indicates that this will be the case and their latest acquisition shows that they are ready to do anything to keep exclusives… what not to read here….
You realize Microsoft is still pushing forwards with porting games to other systems, right?
They haven’t changed that, kinda why we’re seeing rumours of Starfield coming to PS5 and Hi-Fi Rush is still slated for PS5.
They’re only making Xbox consoles now just to give people the option to play on their TV.
