Midori on Zelda Twilight Princess Switch “I do not know why Nintendo is not releasing it yet”

Midori has seemingly backed a number of high profile leakers suggesting that Nintendo is currently sitting on a remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. It all started earlier today when she said that Nintendo has a project with the codename Edward in the works which is related to Zelda. She then said that Richard was the codename for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake on Nintendo Switch. Another user chimed in and said “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Remastered” to which she replied, “I do not know why Nintendo is not releasing it yet.” It is not clear when Nintendo plans to release the game.

  1. Yeah, and Emily Rogers is probably scratching her head wondering why Nintendo hasn’t released Mother 3 in english yet after she said they were totally going to do it..

  2. I think it’s because nowadays they release Zelda ports, remasters, remakes, etc. To pad out the wait for the next big Zelda. If they don’t have a remake to release, they port something.

  3. Maybe because Nintendo hates it. Twilight princess came the closest to improving on oot/mm’s artstyle/character designs, yet Nintendo would rather make things difficult for all future smash bros games. I know i might come off as someone who hates Nintendo. The truth is I love Nintendo, but I feel like Nintendo hates me. It’s hard to defend Nintendo when they keep stabbing me in the back. I what what’s best for Nintendo.

  4. Bring it to the switch 2…. If it came to switch port beggers are still just gonna beg for it to come to the switch 2 regardless….. It’s on 3 systems already….. And barely was an upgrade or “remaster”…. Let tphd come to a system where they actually put in effort….

  5. Probably saving it for the Switch 2 launch would be my guess. I really like Twilight Princess but it seems that culturally it’s one of the less popular Zelda games, but it’ll still sell systems.

  6. In other words in today’s 🤬🤬🤬🤬 economy (which we haven’t seen the worst yet) I think Nintendo and other companies are NOT going to do anything that will ‘rock da boat’. Hence companies Ubisoft and EA Games always aiming their pistols at both their feet in order to ‘play it safe’ which they will feel the pain later! They are doped up on morphine to notice it yet but OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MAN! . Disney is already trying to do a course reversal after half a decade of bad management and bad politics.

  8. Twilight Princess still feels timeless, especially Midna’s character arc. It’s honestly surprising that Nintendo hasn’t brought it to Switch yet when so many fans are clearly waiting for it. Until then, all we can do is replay the classics and wait patiently—kind of like holding onto a favorite collectible or even a moissanite watch[ https://loosemoissanite.com/collections/moissanite-watch ]you know will never go out of style.
