Tom Henderson: New trailer for Beyond Good & Evil 2 been ready for at least a year

Insider Gaming’s very own Tom Henderson has posted on X to say that a brand new trailer for the massively delayed Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been sitting in the vaults at Ubisoft “for about a year.” It is not clear whether the aforementioned trailer will debut at Ubisoft Forward which takes place on Tuesday at 12pm PT / 8pm UK time. Though we should hear about the Beyond Good & Evil 20th anniversary edition release date at the event, if all goes well.

  1. I bet more time has been spent making these trailers than the actual game. They keep making crazy a$&, super detailed hollywood level shorts but haven’t show a single lick of gameplay or even concept of it.

  2. It’s insane how this project is still not canceled, how many years has passed since they announced it?

  3. The pre-rendered cutscenes they showed were pretty cringe to be honest. Dropping the f bomb every 3 seconds like it’s edgy or cool was just lame. Characters seemed garbage-y too. Just cancel this dumpster fire.
