Insider Gaming’s very own Tom Henderson has posted on X to say that a brand new trailer for the massively delayed Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been sitting in the vaults at Ubisoft “for about a year.” It is not clear whether the aforementioned trailer will debut at Ubisoft Forward which takes place on Tuesday at 12pm PT / 8pm UK time. Though we should hear about the Beyond Good & Evil 20th anniversary edition release date at the event, if all goes well.

I bet more time has been spent making these trailers than the actual game. They keep making crazy a$&, super detailed hollywood level shorts but haven’t show a single lick of gameplay or even concept of it.
It’s insane how this project is still not canceled, how many years has passed since they announced it?
The pre-rendered cutscenes they showed were pretty cringe to be honest. Dropping the f bomb every 3 seconds like it’s edgy or cool was just lame. Characters seemed garbage-y too. Just cancel this dumpster fire.
