It would appear as though Nintendo is committed to improving the Nintendo Switch Online experience with a number of key roles being advertised on the Kyoto-based company’s website. This is presumably due to the fact that Nintendo is preparing to launch its successor to the Switch next year and they want to make the service on par with its competitors. The roles available include the following:
- Game Software Development Technical Coordinator
- Front-end Engineer (Nintendo Switch Online)
- Back-end Engineer (Nintendo Switch Online)
- Director/Planner (Nintendo Switch Online)
Sounds like Nintendo needed more help that they can get.
I would like it if they added more content and info onto their legacy games… a more in-depth description for each game, fun facts, old manual scans, an art gallery, video clips of old commercials, and so on. Or even better playing the game will unlock content like achievements for playing the game…. NOW that’s an idea!!!

Japan is real close to war with China which means every abled man including those at Nintendo are ordered to be ready to fight (to the death) if needed taking the long scenic route and Japanese take that VERY seriously. That’s actually why the US dropped the ‘Nuke’ because the other scenario was hand to hand fighting which Japan was well trained for and they’d have dragged things out. They were ordered and willing to fight to the death as they wanted the Burma Oil Fields.

I’m sure Nintendo’s execs are nervous as this means they don’t know whether or not to do anything ‘new’ that’s risky in the event it backfires at them even if it’s not their fault but doing something simply at the wrong time even if what they do would normally be very good.
