  1. I really didn’t like the first Super Mario Party but did like Mario Party Superstars. Hopefully it’s closer to Superstars’ gameplay

  2. Well the boards aren’t grid base anymore, and stars are back to costing 20 coins instead of 10 I’m just glad we didn’t get another compilation of older Mario party stuff.

    1. That’s my main worry. But their phrasing also sounded like it’s not a requirement (could be wrong though).
“…some games are controlled by shaking or tilting the joycon controller.”
Maybe only some games require the joycon… either that or I’m just coping hard…

        1. I’m hoping that’s the case too. I’m mostly worried because it’s using the Super Mario Party branding and that game was joycon only

            1. Huh, interesting. Here’s exactly what it says on the page:
“Motion-controlled minigames require a Joy-Con controller and are not available when playing online. Motion-controlled minigames are not compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, but button-controlled minigames can still be played when using these consoles/accessories.”

I guess that’s why there’s 110 mini games; that way there’s still plenty of variety when you play online.

Well now I’m a lot more excited about the game. Nice!

  3. question do u think this game will be like a combo of superstar and super mario party with new maps and stuff that was in the trailer?
