Tantalus Media, the team behind the excellent port of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Nintendo Switch, is the developer behind the soon to be released Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Nintendo has been strangely quiet when it comes to revealing which teams are behind which games, instead asking fans to wait for the credits. Tantalus Media have worked on a number of other games than Skyward Sword HD and they include The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD on Wii U, Definitive Editions of Age of Empires I, II and III, and the Nintendo Switch version of Sonic Mania. You can read our newly published review for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD here.

This game must have been in development long before the Shiver Entertainment purchase then? Because Shiver is supposed to be one of Nintendo’s big porting divisions.
Maybe Nintendo will look into acquiring Tantalus Media as well? 🤷🏼♂️
