Aspyr announces Star Wars: Bounty Hunter remaster coming in August

Aspyr’s latest project is a remaster of the classic Star Wars: Bounty Hunter and you won’t have to wait long until you can play it as it is due for release on 1st August. You can pre-order now and if you decide to do so then you are entitled to a pre-order discount bringing the game down to $17.99. Here’s the details direct from Aspyr along with the announcement trailer.

Visual improvements:

Improved environment textures: To give more depth and texture to the environment, we’ve added bump maps. The result is a richer environment that feels a bit more modern.

New lighting effects: With dynamic lighting, we now see more color and impact throughout the environment. Every bolt from Jango’s blasters will illuminate throughout the entire velocity.

New flashlight equipment: If you ever thought some areas felt dark, we did too. We added a flashlight to navigate these darker areas.

  1. Yea we need RS games yesterday. This was a fun rent though with cool moments. I remember sliding down a rooftop then jumping off the ledge.

  2. Improved the environments but not the character models? sigh Guys. Take a cue from Nintendo’s Metroid Prime Remastered. That’s a remaster done RIGHT! Oh & Xenoblade Chronicles’s remaster on Switch, too. So with that said, I’ll just re-download the ps4 version of this game that I got when I bought my Darth Vader PS4 Pro all those years ago. Because there really isn’t much of a difference, honestly.
