Mario + Rabbids lead Davide Soliani has now left Ubisoft

Davide Soliani, who was at the helm of both of the Mario + Rabbids collaborations with Ubisoft, has announced on social media platform X that he has left Ubisoft. Mr. Soliani has worked on the Mario + Rabbit’s franchise for the past 11 years and had been at Ubisoft for 25 years. He says it was a difficult decision, but he left Ubisoft to “embark on a new adventure” he says that he can not say anymore on this right now. It will be interesting to see where he eventually goes.

  1. Aww… I really love Davide Soliani. He’s always been such a fun and nice dude, and he was amazing on the Mario + Rabbids games. I hope him leaving Ubisoft is because he’s gotten a really really good job offer somewhere else he’ll do great at :)

    1. Blah can't get girls

Bro can’t get a girlfriend which means he now has to hate Rosalina to make up for him not getting girls 🤣

  2. Basically he jumped ship due to how Ubisoft is fucking up. Wise move, there’s nothing worth saving now.

  3. Ubisoft is getting ripped apart from the inside and out. All because they allowed external (radical) forces take control of the most important parts of the company. This was not a good sign of a healthy relationship between the parties involved and Ubisoft or even the gaming industry as a whole for that matter.

That said him leaving the company is a wise move and I hope for the best. It a shame that activism is taking root and stifling creativity and freedom of expression.
