Dragon Quest III HD-2D features new episodes with Ortega revealing journey

More information has emerged from Japanese site Famitsu regarding the long-awaited Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake from Square Enix. The news site says that Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake will include additional playable episodes revealing the backstory of Ortega’s journey through the game. If you haven’t played the original Dragon Quest III, Ortega, is the Hero’s father, and Famitsu says that these episodes will “reveal his journey and personality.” Famitsu also announced that Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake will feature some new powerful enemies, giving players an additional challenge, if they so wish. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is releasing on Nintendo Switch and other formats this November.

    1. Not sure what you’re talking about here. Most the companies involved will have no say. Armors Project owns DQ rights and I doubt they will change the way the game is.

      1. It’s not pathetic to not want censorship and sanitization in your games, which has unfortunately been infecting Square games as of late. If you’re gonna get this game, more power to you, but other people have the right to not buy it for whatever reason.

      2. I’d argue that anyone who’s okay with soulless companies inserting their own political agendas into other people’s games are the ones who are truly “cooked”.
But hey, shills gonna shill I guess.
