We should be in for some long-awaited Pokemon news later today as Pokemon Worlds draws to a close. The news was announced by The Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara who said that they will share “special news” about Pokemon games during today’s closing ceremony. It’s not clear what will be revealed, it could be updates to existing Pokemon games like Pokemon GO, or something completely new.

Well no, they show off next year’s new/returning TCG mechanic after worlds. The new TCG mechanic for next year will be Megas. There’s definitely going to be a Z/A trailer before that.
