Thunderful Games has announced it will be publishing a new game in Lost in Random series, though this isn’t quite the same type of game as the original as The Eternal Die is a rougelite game. The developers behind the original are involved in this project, but it’s not being handled by EA. Game director Martin Storm says that they really wanted to “build upon this world” and wanted to try “a whole new gameplay experience.” You can check out the trailer for Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, which is due out in 2025, down below.
“In Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Aleksandra, formerly known as The Queen, and her companion, Fortune have been captured inside the Eternal Die where a wicked Storyteller is plotting their final chapter. Players will fight their way through a randomly generated gauntlet where they’ll take on monstrous pawns and giant board games, to claim treasure which improves your chances. They must use their wits and trusty die companion to escape this living labyrinth, where evil reigns and Random Rules.”
