Nintendo celebrates 25 years of Monolith Soft in new video

Shulk features in Xenoblade 3 DLC

Nintendo has produced a special celebratory video for the acclaimed Monolith Soft’s 25th anniversary. The company is behind a number of huge JRPGs including the Xenoblade series and Xenosaga series. Monolith Soft has often also helped out on a number of Nintendo’s games including The Legend of Zelda series, Splatoon, and many others when necessary. Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any teaser for what the company is working on next, but it will presumably be for Nintendo’s next console.

  1. Nice video, but Nintendo could do something nicer, I know we would appreciate any further announcements being switch 2 related.

  2. Seeing Elma with the other Xeno protagonists at the end of the video gives me false hope that Monolith Soft haven’t actually forgotten Xenoblade X and might finally consider giving the game its long overdue sequel.

I know it’s probably never going to happen after all this time, but I can dream…

  3. Xenoblade chronicles x2 and a xenoblade chronicles x2 themed console with themed joy cons (or whatever the new base controller us called)would be the ultimate package. Oh, and whatever the new version of a pro controller too…xenoblade chronicles x2 version lol XC2 EVERYTHING!

  4. I’m just waiting for a remastered Xenoblade X. The game was WAYYY ahead of its time and the Wii U can only do so much. Quiet literally the biggest game I have ever played but never finished.
