Mario & Luigi: Brothership launches on 7th November for Nintendo Switch. To prepare for the first brand-new adventure in the Mario & Luigi RPG series since 2015, the new Mario & Luigi: Brothership – An island-hopping adventure awaits! (Nintendo Switch) trailer is here to provide a rundown of the journey.
A mysterious power has fractured the world of Concordia into many scattered islands, and it’s up to Mario and Luigi to reconnect them. Together, they venture out on Shipshape Island – part ship, part island – and launch out of its cannon to visit, explore and quest through a variety of different islands, ranging from tropical rainforests to bustling cities. Over the course of their journey, the two brothers will meet helpful new friends like Connie and Snoutlet (who is definitely not a pig) and encounter familiar characters from the Mushroom Kingdom like Peach and Bowser.
To reconnect Concordia, players will need to harness the power of Mario and Luigi’s brotherly bond. To overcome challenges and bypass obstacles, the two use Bros. Moves – like combining the moustachioed duo into a ball, or by throwing fire and ice balls to melt or freeze any impediments. In battle, players can take advantage of powerful Bros. Attacks like Zapperator in a dynamic twist on turn-based combat, where well-timed attacks, dodges, and counterattacks are key to defeating foes.
Additionally, equipping Battle Plugs for extra abilities can grant Mario and Luigi strategic advantages, like creating a shockwave to damage multiple enemies or guaranteed critical hits against flying enemies. Players can experiment with creative combinations to layer different effects and see what happens.
The power of Luigi’s inventive mind is brought into play with Luigi Logic, which can lend a helping hand during exploration and boss battles alike. While his flashes of inspiration can be unconventional at times, they will help Mario with solving puzzles, collecting items and dealing big damage to even bigger baddies.

My most anticipated game of the year.
I heard today is the day Nintendo will unveil the switch two. Is that for real? or is it not true? Even if its not at least we have New Mario & Luigi Brothership coming out soon. Did you all just hear? this is Paidenthusiasts most anticipated game of year!
Wouldn’t suprise me if this becomes the best selling Mario & Luigi game ever. It looks very good.
Also, it sounds like they’re still using Charles Martinet‘s voice clips for Mario and Luigi in this game.
Really? It sounded like Kevin Afghani to me.
He does a good job of imitiating Charles’ voices on the whole, but there’s a couple of voice lines (particulary in the first trailer) that sound different.
Luigi is spot on, Mario? Fuck no.
7th November can’t come soon enough, I need to play this NOW!🔥
Looks gorgeous, Nintendo knows his hardware, it looks stunning and it’s all on that tiny device
One of my most anticipated games, can’t wait until the release date.
