Believe it or not, it has now been 3 years since Nintendo added the Expansion Pack to Nintendo Switch Online‘s subscription service. The Expansion Pack comes with the Nintendo 64, Game Boy Advance and SEGA Genesis retro libraries. So, to celebrate, Nintendo acknowledged the occasion with a new newsletter email.
What may make some of you curious is how Nintendo ended the email. Nintendo asks “What excitement will the next year bring for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members? Stay tuned to find out”. It seems that, despite a new console on the horizon, Nintendo is far from done with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. You can see a social media post relaying the news down below.

Considering we are approaching the 20th anniversary of the Nintendo DS, I guess we won’t have to wait much longer to find out 😊
You know what you’re talking about
GameCube online subscription.
Option to purchase individual titles in tandem with Switch 2 launch please (I’m begging) 🙏🏻
Wait games will actually have rollback netcode? No way!
I’m excited tor this, I pay 12 euros a year with my friends and the legacy content is very much worth it, if we get new stuff with extra content with no price increase added im going to be very happy
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that its Gamecube or Pokémon mainline games. If either of those gets announced I’ll start paying for the online service.
DK64 lfg!
Pokemon finally
They need to add Orge battle 64 to the list
Honestly there’s so many games that we need for switch online it isn’t even funny. I’m dying for Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones and Conker’s Bad Fur Day myself…
