Readers of the site have been asking for Xenoblade Chronicles X to be ported to the Nintendo Switch for years now and thankfully that is finally happening as it’s scheduled to land on Nintendo’s current platform in March. The announcement has seemingly resonated with a number of gamers as the announcement trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles X has now surpassed one million views on YouTube. Never played the og Xenoblade Chronicles X on the WII U so this will be a new experience.
Worth the wait , trust me
It has almost no connection to the rest of the Xenoblades, but it was still a good game. The size of the map was impressive 9 years ago, and hopefully still will be in this remake.
Plus, part of the story ended on a cliffhanger and it’s been teased that this will have more story elements. I hope this means that loose end will be delved into.
Too bad Sony is stingy with IPs they have their mitts on. (Looking at their iron grip on the Spider-Man property, for instance.) Otherwise, Nintendo could have bought Xenogears & called XCX what it should have really been called from the start.
