The head of Xbox Phil Spencer has told Bloomberg in a new interview that he sees no red lines where it comes to bringing major Xbox games to other platforms. This is an upfront change from Spencer who previously wouldn’t be drawn into saying if key Xbox games would come to other platforms, it seems now that nothing is off the table for the Redmond-based company. Spencer also told Bloomberg that the business is much healthier now as the result of cuts and games appearing on other systems and that they are working on a Xbox-themed handheld that is few years out.

“After releasing the first batch of Xbox games for Sony Group Corp.’s PlayStation and Nintendo Co.’s Switch, Spencer is pleased with the results. Microsoft will do more of that, he said, and won’t rule out any game in Microsoft’s stable.”

“I do not see sort of red lines in our portfolio that say ‘thou must not,’ ” he said. It’s too early to make any sort of decision on the next version of Halo, he said.
