Tokyo: Switch version of Dragon Quest III HD-2D sold out at number of stores

The Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake has now seemingly sold out in multiple stores across Tokyo, Japan. The news was revealed by the informative team at Tokyo Game Life who were checking stores in Tokyo for copies of the game and were greeted with a number of sold out signs on the displays. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is available now on Nintendo Switch both physically and digitally.

Dragon Quest III on Switch was sold out at multiple stores I visited today in Tokyo. I guess some things never change.

  1. To be expected, it’s basically a national holiday in Japan when a new Dragon Quest game releases. I’ll be getting it used for PS5 in like a year for $20. 😜
