The Minecraft movie, offically titled A Minecraft Movie, has receieved a second trailer following the initial teaser from August.
The two and a half minute long trailer shows how Steve, played by Jack Black, made his way into the world of Minecraft, before fast-forwarding to when the rest of the cast shows up and the antics begin.

I can’t be shocked anymore. Let’s buckle up for the video game cinematic universe on the horizon… and Jack Black will obviously be in most of them.

Whoever said Minecraft needs to be live action was an idiot, I’d rather this be an anime adaptation. Honestly, I never thought a Minecraft movie would look like this.

UberHaxorNova did a replication of the chicken cooking thing on stream to see if it possible in the actual game and couldn’t replicate it. He’s not a Minecraft exclusive content creator but he has played it a lot in the past with other people especially when he was in a group that slowly started to fade when key people left like SSoHPKC. That being said this would be an interesting watch.
WTF, I don’t hate this at all. I thought I would, but this looks pretty entertaining. I remember all the side eye Sonic The Hedgehog got but then those movies turned out good.
Was anyone asking for a Steve origin story though? I wasn’t.
