Rumour: Andy from VGC expecting a big Game Awards says “fire up the hype train”

Next week is the biggest gaming awards ceremony of the year The Game Awards and each year people have reasonably high expectations for the annual event and are generally left feeling somewhat disappointed. It seems as though that may not be the case for this year’s event though. Andy Robinson from VGC has been stoking the fire on X saying that he is “expecting a VERY big Game Awards next week. Fire up the hype train.” Whether this turns out to be the case is an unknown at present, but he claims that this is not based on a guess. What would make this year’s The Game Awards a memorable event for you?

    1. You’re telling me. I also wanna say that the game of the year award should just be the player’s voice award, but seeing that Genshin Impact actually won player’s voice and is still up as a runner yet again…. I hate to say it, but the panel with their questionable credibility has better taste.

  1. Translation: Get ready for a farming simulator that’s a casual gacha indie knockoff of Animal Crossing where cooking uses pre-determined recipes, only the player character can get married, and all marriage options are the same gender-I mean body type-as the player character.

      1. Sorry sweety, calling Christians homophobes won’t make the fact that homosexuality is a sin go away. Thank you Tentri for proving once and for all that you’re not just stupid, you’re evil.

        1. It’s also a sin to wear clothes woven with two different fabrics, but the types of Christians who are hellbent on homosexuality conveniently ignore that bit despite all sins being equal in the eyes of God, because every sin makes us fall short in his glory. The fact of the matter is, even though you’re washed in Christ’s redemptive blood, you’re still a sinner saved by faith alone and grace alone.

Let me also ask you this, was it not the pharisees who Jesus rebuked, and the lost who Jesus extended grace towards?

          1. Yet you ignored Jesus, who said go and sin no more. Homosexuality arent to keep on sinning. If that the case, youre the problem. A murderer or rapist can still commit crime but pray 5 times a day and go back and do it again so that okay? LOL and the fact is, you’re not suppose to wear two different fabric together. Why would you wear a shirt made of 80% polyester and another shirt 80% cotton on top of that. Before you go on about pork and clothes. That passage is God telling people how to live healthy. I could go on all day but you’re the type who doesn’t know how to draw a line that enough is enough.

        2. UUUUUUUHHHH BLAH GOT ME HE GOT ME GOOD, MY NEIGHBOUR IS SATAN AND HE TOLD ME TO WRITE THAT COMMENT, BLAH YOU SIR ARE A TRUE WARRIOR OF GOD MY FRIEND

        3. Also, you can’t claim someone is homophobic because that implies they have an irrational fear. This is certainly not the case.

  2. Of course he would, considering the very negative reception this year’s TGA is getting. Gotta artificially hype it up because the nominations are already a big joke.

      1. Easy:

        -Wukong (was nominated)
        -Stellar Blade (snubbed)
        -Metaphor (was nominated)
-Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance (snubbed)
        -Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (nominated)

No six games nonsense. No DLC nonsense. No Balatro nonsense. Just because most companies didn’t manage to fork one good title, that doesn’t mean Sega and Atlus should be punished by having only one title nominated. If Western developers are creatively and morally bankrupt, let them.
