It isn’t even going to be 2 weeks into 2025 before gamers will be able to play another interesting video gaming release. A remaster of Freedom Wars, which originally launched exclusively on the PlayStation Vita in 2014, is coming soon. So, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Dimps have been gradually increasing their marketing of the game.
For example, a new video has been released, which is none other than the game’s opening movie. Freedom Wars Remastered will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on January 10th. Bandai Namco uploaded the opening movie to their official YouTube channel, so you can see the video for yourself down below.
Uhm, correct me if I’m wrong: didn’t this used to be a Sony IP? The original was developed by the now defunct Japan Studio right? So why isn’t Sony involved in this at all? Or am I wrong about this?

Great concept, but it was ultimately another MH clone. This is from around the time when Sony was slinging everything at the wall because MH was a 3DS exclusive.
It was this, Soul Sacrifice, God Eater, Valhalla Knights, and Toukiden.
Again, not a bad game, and had a great concept, but it was just another MH clone.
Oh, I forgot about Lord of Apocalypse and Ragnorak Odyssey.
