Sonic Movie writers say they’re thinking of having outer-space adventures in the future

It has been an incredible road for the Sonic movie franchise. What was once a major concern due to the fallout from Sonic’s original cinematic design has turned into a multi-film financial success for SEGA and Paramount. The Sonic movie franchise has earned a combined total of $1,000,000,000 globally, and that number is only increasing as Sonic Movie 3 continues to play in theaters.

Still, the writers are always thinking ahead to the future. Sonic Movie 4 has already been confirmed, and they’re always thinking of ideas to include in the movies. For example, Sonic writers Patrick Casey and Josh Miller were recently interviewed by Collider. In it, they revealed that “we definitely know that there are other worlds and these more fantastical zones, and we would like to see it, so we assume the audience would like to see it as well”.

    1. How about other IPs for your now-established movie division, like:
      -Ristar
      -Toejam & Earl
      -Jet Set Radio
-Samba de Amigo (then again, appropriation may be an issue)
      -Golden Axe
      -Skies of Arcadia
      -Bonanza Bros.
      -Streets of Rage
      -Burning Rangers
      -Virtua Fighter
      -Etc.

And they don’t all have to be live-action BTW. Try CGI western animation or even anime.

        1. And what’s a Super Monkey Ball film even supposed to look like?

Also notice how I left out Chu Chu Rocket, which at best could be a series of of animated shorts, much like Angry Birds, and “Oggy and the Cockroaches”.

  1. Apart from Shadow the Hedgehog, the only game left that does this Sonic Colors (one of the WORST written games yet).

    1. Sonic frontiers, SA2, Sonic Generations (technically it occurs across all of the infinite timelines and more but ig it still counts?), Sonic Rush, and more games occur in space

      1. Apart from Sonic Frontiers, this very movie already did SA2, Generations is a nostalgia romp (for gamers), Dead Line took place in space?

  2. Please stop with the space bs. Most of us know that space isn’t what it’s portrayed to be. We cannot leave earth.

    1. Buddy, many fights occur in space in the Sonic games if you actually play them. But they could just make it occur in sonic’s home world at least.

  3. The success of the Sonic movie franchise is a testament to the power of creative adaptation and audience connection. The journey from initial design concerns to a billion-dollar global milestone is truly remarkable. As Sonic Movie 4 is confirmed, the writers’ vision of exploring fantastical zones and other worlds adds excitement for fans eager to see new dimensions of Sonic’s universe. For professionals managing demanding schedules, platforms like Smart Square Login can streamline operations, just as the Sonic franchise continues to streamline its path to success. It’s an exciting time for both fans and creators alike!
