A SEGA Account, as the name suggests, will allow you to play SEGA and Atlus games online and also receive goodies like pre-order bonuses for SEGA and Atlus games etc. To can sign up now to get a special in-game bonus for the company’s upcoming Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

An account for the company who made the console the game is being played on =/= a 3rd party forcing sign in.
Last I heard, the PS5 was their box, not PC. So why are they forcing you to sign in to PSN to play single player games on PC?
