It has been confirmed that the long-awaited fourth movie in the action-packed Sonic the Hedgehog movie franchise is scheduled to arrive in cinemas and theatres on 19th March, 2027. It was inevitable that a fourth movie would be made given the success of last few films at the worldwide box office. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 which made its debut in December 2024, is officially the property’s highest-grossing entry with $218 million domestically and $422 million globally to date.

My personal predictions for Sonic 4 are that it will be a cross between Sonic CD and Sonic heroes with just a pinch of Terminator mixed in: as for quality, I imagine that it will be better than Sonic 2 but not as good as Sonic 3…
Unless I bring back shadow, in which case it’ll probably be the best movie in the franchise 🤩
