Today’s Nintendo Direct was very divisive and how it went depends a lot on who you’re talking to. One thing that was announced in the Direct was the Nintendo Today app. The app is now available to download, but there have been some promotional images related to the app that may be a little interesting to you, especially if you’re interested to learn more about the Switch 2.
You see, the promotional images for the Nintendo Today app include a picture of the Switch 2. At first glance, it may not seem like much. However, a user on social media noticed that, when looking closer, the image actually contains the C-button on the Switch 2 Joy-Con that had been rumored in the past, and was mysteriously missing from Nintendo’s reveal of the console back in January. You can see the user’s social media post about the matter down below.

I see.
Yep the one we saw in the reveal trailer was a prototype. Because the C symbol wasn’t there from the start. We now reached it’s final design.
*its
Uh….And….?
Why does it look like cheap plastic? Is it due to tariffs?
🤦♂️
Save it for Fox News, Donnie.
Maybe it’s just me, but is that not just the Switch 2 Joy-Con’s version of the SL button?
I genuinely don’t see anything different.
Oh you have to click on the picture to pull up the full image.
Yeah idk what that big C is.
What times are we living, in which people getting are discussing about a letter on a button? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
It’s not on my app store.
