YouTuber Zeltic has discovered that the recently announced Zelda Notes application for iOS and Android will allow you to repair your equipment in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ports on the Nintendo Switch 2. This comes as a feature of the accompanying Zelda Notes app for iOS and Android devices. The Equipment Repair is one of the daily bonuses players can roll for. While it is not a given that you will receive the specific bonus, it’s a handy feature if you can acquire it.
Zelda Notes app can allow you to repair your equipment in Switch 2 Zelda ports

What does this even mean? 🤷♂️
It means weapons etc won’t degrade.
That’s quite vague. Does it mean for one day, every weapon is basically unbreakable? Or only one weapon? And if only one weapon, which one? The one currently equipped, or a random one? 🤔
It’s not clear it was just discovered in the teaser video presumably the in-game text was translated. We won’t know until Nintendo gives us a better look at the app.
Yes… It’s not like we run out of weapons in the game…
Decidedly these famous “bonuses” switch 2 edition of zelda do not attract me at all
Not even 60 fps?
It’s just an improvement patch that brings absolutely nothing to the gameplay… it’s just comfort and this kind of patch shouldn’t be paid…
From this point of view, I am disappointed by this policy, as much as I can understand for super mario party jamboree as much there no
And more frightening for me: I still don’t know if this patch is mandatory or not to be able to play zelda on the new switch, if it is mandatory, my switch will still have a bright future ahead of it…
This means that weapons won’t break on us.
So for the price of $460 + a smartphone you can now repair items in Tears of the Kingdom.
Nintendo used to be the company that cancelled Flipnote and Swapnote online features for child safety. Now they expect kids to have bad parents who hive them access to smartphones.
Nintendo doesn’t even make smartphones, so they’re directing kids outside the safety of the Nintendo ecosystem to highly questionable third parties that are known to get sued for bad practices every other day.
Where and when do you live? 😆😆
These days almost every kid at the age of 8 has his/her own smartphone.
At the age of 8 ?!?!?!
Think the question is where do you live ?
So your kids don’t have phones nowadays? How far behind are you? 🤨
“How far behind are you?” Says the person who is proud of generation x brain rotted tablet children. If your child doesn’t have a phone they are ahead not behind. Go try to talk to a kid who has a phone and tell me how great the conversation skills are on the kid who’s best friend was a phone. People are so stupid nowadays.
Not behind just a good parent. Why does a 8 or even 10 year old need a smartphone? They only need to call family and a few friends. If anything a locked tablet not a freaking iPad or iPhone is warranted. Sorry not giving a child something that costs a few hundred dollars to take everywhere with them. My kids didn’t even get a phone until they were 14 and even then it was locked.
I don’t ever comment on here but this is one of the dumbest couple of comments I’ve seen on this site
Parents already give their kids smartphones or tablets. Even a kids tablet could download this app. They are not doing anything that pushes people to do this as they already do because parents don’t want to deal with their kids in todays world.
These Zelda games are amongst my favorite games.
There’s just a few tweaks Nintendo could do to make them better.
1. Include the dlc with switch 2 physical version of botw.
2. Bring the master mode to totk
3. Some sort of patch to make fusing items to arrows etc a bit more fluid. ( once you’ve got an abundance of items you’re scrolling through a single menu line and it’s so dated and tedious.
I won’t lie though, I’m looking forward to playing these in their upgraded form, in fact I only played part way through totk so il wait to start a new play through on this one now.
Nintendo should dish the whole breaking bs completely (not applying to the pots of course =)
this is the most funny comment thread ever
So to improve one of BotW/TotK’s few actual flaws, you need an accompanying app for the game, not the game itself.
I hate it here.
That’s actually a pretty cool feature—being able to repair your gear through the Zelda Notes app sounds like a nice quality-of-life improvement, especially for those of us who always broke our favorite weapons mid-fight I just hope it’s not locked behind some paywall or heavy RNG.
While waiting for more Switch 2 news, I’ve been killing time with some mobile stuff and even tried a few quick games over at http://pinco-kz-casino.com —surprisingly chill way to unwind between gaming sessions. Curious to see what other features the app will bring!
