A Zelda speed runner recently attended one of the many Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events, which are being held across the world, in anticipation of the console’s launch on 5th June. Japanese content creator Ikaboze tried out The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and took onlookers completely by surprise as he completed the game within the 10 minute demo timeframe. The demo available at the event allows you to choose from various save files with Ikaboze launching a save just before the final battle with Ganon and expertly reaching the game’s credit screen in around 7 minutes.

Drop price.
Considering how it is sold out everywhere, I don’t think they’re concerned about lowering the price to get sales 😆
Sounds like somebody wasn’t able to snag a preorder
A staff member came close to the speed runner and said “hey you are not allowed to do th-“
Speed runner immediately turns around and shouts “DROP THE PRICE!!!”
Touch grass.
Touch carpet.
The articles kinda misleading, it says they “completed the game” but then it says “they loaded a save just before the final boss” technically they didn’t complete the game as the article suggested, they loaded a save. They loaded a save just before the final boss and took on lookers by surprise “because they loaded a save just before the final boss”
Well I don’t think even speedrunners can beat- let alone reach- Ganon in BotW in under 10 minutes if they start from the beginning. The article is ostensibly correct.
I probably could never do this and it’s still very impressive, but starting just before the final boss is NOT “completing” the game.
