Thanks to the Nintendo Today app, we now have full details of the user icons that will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 when the system launches next month on June 5th. The lineup is quite extensive in fact, with a total of 258, nearly double what was available on the Switch 1, which had 147 total. These will be available to all users and won’t require Platinum Points to acquire.
Multiple franchises will have some form of representation: Mario, Zelda, and Animal Crossing will all have a broader selection, and every single starter Pokemon will also be available for the first time without the need for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Some of Nintendo’s more niche titles, such as ARMS, will also have their own set of user icons.
Here’s the icons:

Glad to see Fire Emblem having default icons. I didn’t notice anything from Xenoblade though. Shame. Still, definitely an improvement overall.
They should add Avatars base on Nintendo Switch Sports as a customizations.
These are just the switch one icons that you get for platinum points 😂 I have most of these.
No F-Zero or WarioWare? Barely any Star Fox?
I mean, it’s likely those will show up later, but to START with none or very very little? Blasphemy.
