Could a PC release of Monolith Soft’s riveting Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition be on the cards? It seems fairly unlikely. However, the game has found itself on a new list of Enhanced games for Microsoft Edge Game Assist. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition was listed along with the likes of Diablo IV and Fallout 4 on Microsoft’s support page and hasn’t been removed. Microsoft Edge Game Assist is used to enable PC gamers look up tips, guides, and other help, while they play select PC games.

Why would a public Microsoft document include pirated software?
Why would a public Microsoft document include a console exclusive from a publisher that has never released a game on PC?
Emulation is legal. What you do with emulators may not be
absolutely no way. Nintendo still recognizes the value of exclusives
Nintendo did PC stuff in the past, just in niche terms.

Well, the end of utility games with Mario and Luigi, which only have ‘game’ as a designation… not exactly something to be excited about.Now it either smells like an error, or there’s a confusion between a pirated game as I mentioned earlier, or Nintendo is being secretive… but in that case, I really wonder what Microsoft could have offered them in return, and online it’s getting heated; some already see it as the end of consoles, while others are wondering what games Nintendo will put on Steam..
It’s either a misprint, or Microsoft secured some key and if deal to lend it’s tech to make switch 2 upgrade packs.
Something is weird about this. While I dont necessarily believe this will actually lead to a port, its extremely odd that the company updated the list after word got out about Xenoblade Chronicles X DE being on it, not to remove it from the list, but to remove the DE portion from the name. Ive heard people saying Googles AI made a mistake and it created the list, but I just find it odd that they went through the effort to edit the page and didnt take it out.
I kinda remember something similar related to Nvidia leaks of Nintendo games and people similarly going crazy of Nintendo exclusives going to PC or Streaming. And we all know how that turns out.
those were real, nintendo partnered with nvidia to release games in china to be played on the Shield. it did not last long.
I think that’s the point they were trying to make.

This pretty clearly looks like a case of someone using AI and not even bothering to verify the results. Not a good look for Microsoft.
Maybe this or Microsoft will start to have guides for games from other platforms.
On a side note, the site lists the game as Xenoblade Chronicles X, without the Definitive Edition, so it looks like an error.
Maybe the Switch 2 will have Edge browser?
