Mr. Miyamoto has taken over the Nintendo X account has has stated that they have decided to delay the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie. The new date is 7th May 2027. Mr. Miyamoto says that the delay is down to production reasons and they will take the extra time to make the film as good as possible. He concluded by thanking fans for their patience.

Zelda movie was previously scheduled for March 26, 2027. They pushed back about 1 month, 1 week, and 4 days (even though there is 2 more years till the release).
It’s a live-action movie. I can wait.
I just wanna see the movie and enjoy it, i personally couldn’t careless who gets cast for the part of Zelda as long as the movie is good. You probably won’t even be able to tell if they are trans, but seriously who really cares i doubt it will be a big part of the movie and you probably won’t know any difference anyhow.
