The launch date for the next instalment in the action-packed Borderlands franchise is drawing ever closer. However, if you were planning to get the game on the Nintendo Switch 2 you will have to wait a while longer as Gearbox has confirmed that Borderlands 4 will not be available on Nintendo Switch 2 on 12th September. The official website says Borderlands 4 for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available later in 2025.
When will Borderlands 4 be released?
Borderlands 4 is launching on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 12, 2025!
It will also come to Nintendo Switch 2 later in 2025; we’ll share more details at a later date.
Just happy it’s releasing on the Nintendo Switch 2. I thought the standard edition was alot but the deluxe edition is $99 and the super deluxe edition is $130
