Another rumour has emerged today that suggests that Korean developer ShiftUp is planning to bring Stellar Blade to the Nintendo Switch 2. The company generously gifted its employees Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and a report on Korean PlayForum suggests that Stellar Blade is currently in development for Nintendo‘s latest console. 1. From what I heard, even though Sony is the publisher the Stellar Blade IP is actually fully owned by its creator ShiftUp, so once the contract with PlayStation expires, ShiftUp can release the game wherever it pleases.

Also, Sony launched Lego Horizon Adventures on the Switch (simultaneously with the game’s PS5 release) last year, so they’re no stranger to releasing games on Nintendo hardware.

      1. Also, I know SB is also on PC. Should have wrote “once the contract with Sony…” instead of PlayStation.

        1. It doesn’t mean anything, Sony does not see the PC as a competing platform. We’ll see, but I remain skeptical; we can’t compare this game to LEGO Adventure…

          1. I’m not comparing SB to Lego Horizon Adventures specifically though, just pointing out the fact that Sony-published games has been on Nintendo earlier. Sony did also let Bandai Namco license franchises like Freedom Wars and Patapon for multi-releases earlier.
