Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots looks like a solid new entry to the long-running series with plenty of content to sink your teeth into and a large character roster. However, the game’s Steam page discloses that the game features some textures which were created using generative AI. Steam store listings have to state if AI has been used in any form to create the game. Here’s what the product page says:

Is this a story? So what? There have been tools for generating textures and other parts of games for decades. There are situations where AI can be controversial but this isn’t one of them

This is super interesting about the AI textures! It’s wild how much AI is being used these days. I wonder if they used something like banana ai to make those leaves. Sounds like a cool game either way!
