Japan: Nintendo dominates with Switch 2 selling 140K, Mario Kart World No.1

The Nintendo Switch 2 has proved to be immensely popular in Japan with recent sales data from Famitsu showing that Nintendo’s latest platform is a force to be reckoned with. Nintendo shifted 140,026 Nintendo Switch consoles 16th June, 2025 to 22nd June, 2025. The best-selling video game was Mario Kart World shifting an additional 122,578 physical copies.

  1. The fungus feels happy. A moment of calm for its poor foot-soldiers, so desperate not to be slain by its spores of evil.

      1. No, wait. Let them continue. I want to see how long they keep this up for. Grunty, for example, has been at their “Nintendo needs to stop waiting 10 years to develop a game.” schtick for 2-3 years now.
