The promising looking Sonic Racing CrossWorlds release date is fast approaching and the marketing is only going to get more intense from here on out. Today, SEGA has released the opening cinematic theme which will be on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music tomorrow. The vocals are performed by British vocalist James Bourne and the music is by Takahiro Kai. Take a listen and enjoy.

This is just my opinion but whenever I see these Sonic Kart games, they seem like they are only made for the money and nothing else. “Mario Kart Sells so let’s do that.” The first two Sonic Riders Gamers for me felt like heart, soul, and passion were put into them. Like Sonic Racing doesn’t look bad by any means but for me screams, We want your money, take the bait and buy all of our DLC that we made a long side development and could have added to the base game but we’ll charge you instead. Sonic Forces Charged for Super Sonic originally and Colors Ultimate charged money for a color swap of Sonic’s shoes, origins charged for characters to be in the background of the main menu.
And this game doesn’t look any bad to you is why exactly?

Personally your response is rage bait secondly Mario cart was more than 100 bucks 150 for the DLC and you say that is not a nostalgia cash grab plus Mario cart world was announced after crossworlds and stole some game mechanics from it to all I see from the “opinion” is always backing the bigger company which is Nintendo

The melody and the electric guitars are great in the cinematic opening but the lyrics is ok a bit.

This is the worst sonic racing theme so far. By far. All the others had good lyrics that could apply outside of gaming and are routinely on my playlists. This one has that Sonic X, Sonic Heroes vibe, incredibly cheesy and kid-friendly.
Which is cool, but even the awful Team Sonic Racing had Greenlight Ride, the two official remixes were even better.
Maybe they’ll remix this and it could have a good version but geez yikes no way as it is right now.
