  1. Well hopefully, this finally ends all that speculation about this topic. Never heard of them, but that’s a good thing. I’m glad it’s at least to me, two relative newbies that are getting a shot. Time will tell how they do, and I wish them well. I’m so thankful none of the big usual Hollywood names took this, yet again. Good luck to them both.

  2. Both are english, so they probably chose them to follow what BotW and TotK introduced of Zelda’s accent being of an english royal reference. I wonder if Link will talk in the movie too (and if he will have an accent or not). Looking forward for the project.

  3. Glad they are not huge names, big names woukd be better for baddies or older side characters. Though I hope the bigots didn’t influence this at all.

  4. Part of me wishes that they cast Tom Holland just for the memes, but overall I’m glad they decided to go with fresh blood: here’s hoping they nail the roles

But I still want Terry crews as ganondorf

    1. I love the guy but I can’t see him as the big villain type. But maybe that’s exactly why he’d be a good choice. Plenty of evil (and/or mean) characters have been played by some of the nicest people you’ll meet.

  5. So Zelly will be early 20s & Link will be mid-teens. That said, Bo looks like she can pass for someone in their late teens, so no guarantee Zelly will be early 20s. By 2027, she’ll be 23 & him 19, though. They don’t look like they’ll look older by the time filming starts, though, so I’m sticking with my assumed ages for them for now.

narrows eyes to see if they could pass for siblings I can’t really tell but I’m leaning towards no. (A theory I had about OoT Link & Zelda for years was that they were siblings, explaining why his name sounded familiar to her. But then Skyward Sword came along & killed that theory. She could have simply recalled it from past life memory. Another possibility is that Link’s father was also named Link & he was a well known knight who died in the war that preceded OoT. Most likely a past life memory recall, though.)
