CD Project Red is releasing the 2.3 update patch for Cyberpunk 2077 on July 17. The new update doesn’t just fix specific bugs in the Night City world and missions, it also adds new vehicles, photo mode, auto drive feature, a tab for time of day and weather, and other quality of life improvements. The newly patched game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Mac with Apple silicon, and PC. The update for Nintendo Switch 2 will launch at a later date.

The auto drive and weather/time-of-day tab sound perfect for immersion (and lazy cruising through Night City). I just reinstalled it on my PC after reading some microsoft online store reviews to make sure I got the best deal on a digital copy. Honestly, this patch might finally convince me to start a new playthrough, maybe this time I’ll actually finish all those side gigs instead of getting distracted by photo mode.
